1953 - 2023 Honouring Portuguese Pioneers

In the 70 years since that first journey of portuguese immigrants, the dependents of those first pioneers have gone on to greatness across this great land, and on May 13 and 14 of 2023, we are taking the opportunity to celebrate them and to celebrate our heritage and integration into Canada.
As an essential member of our community, we invite you to be a part of our festivities. We have great opportunities for you to showcase your business at this monumental event!”

Portugal the Festa
Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St W, Toronto
This day is to celebrate our culture and traditions at the heart of the city of Toronto with other ethnicities at Nathan Philips Square for the first time in the history of the Portuguese Community.

The Festivities will culminate on Sunday, as we overtake downtown Toronto with a celebration of Portuguese culture for everyone to experience. This event will feature performances by Bárbara Bandeira and Pedro Abrunhosa from Portugal, as well as local artists and folclore groups.
And since food is a cornerstone of our heritage, local restaurants will be setting up tents and serving Portuguese delicacies.
